Val

Val is one of the members of the Sentinels of The Sea and older brother of Voluntar Caligo. Named as the provisional leader of the group during the beginning of Lua Kireina arc, he is a Gloomstalker Ranger / Druid multiclass with semi-close quarters fighting style utilizing a combination of ranged weaponry and spells.

Appearance

Val is a 32 year old drow with purple-grey skin and long white hair most often donned in a braid. Standing at 6ft tall, he has a lithe athletic physique and elegant features. His eyes are a striking light-pink colour.

Most often, Val can be seen wearing dark coloured clothing and leather armor, accompanied by a hooded cloak and mask. During the day, he also wears dark goggles to protect eyes that are more adapted to dark environments. When moving incognito, he pulls on his mask and hood, and dons his goggles, allowing to hide most recognizable features.

During warmer weather, Val can be seen wearing more blues and browns, with sleeveless shirts exposing his arms.

Val wears a necklace with a large rose-quartz pendant at all times. This acts as his magical focus and is occasionally concealed.

• Val has a pet Cockatoo named Berry, named as such because at first he fed it Goodberries to befriend it.
• Though Val is usually quite stoic, this facade often cracks in the presence of cute animals.
• Occasionally, Val will automatically respond seriously to sarcastic questions or comments, only realizing their intent later.
